After the device is turned on, eTalk-GT goes into a power saving standby mode from which it can quickly power up so the user can begin to talk immediately after the first touch—with no boot-up time or delays waiting for the system to start up as found in other alternative communication products. Even though eTalk-GT will operate for 3-4 days on a single charge and quickly recharge, charging it routinely overnight will ensure the device is always ready for a full-day’s use.

The eTalk-GT features a large display and includes software to accommodate users with dexterity limitations. The device is ruggedly constructed using a high-impact plastic case, and comes with a mounting attachment for wheelchairs, beds and other equipment as needed.
